The Washington Commanders returned to the practice field Wednesday in preparation for a Week 9 rematch against the New York Giants. The Managers defeated the Giants 21-18 in Week 2.
Rookie quarterback Jaden Daniels, who missed practice last Wednesday and Thursday, had limited minutes. Daniels appeared in Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears and surprised Chicago by throwing a Hail Mary, but the NFL world is still buzzing.
The most concerning injury for Washington is left tackle Cornelius Lucas. Lucas injured his ankle late in Sunday’s game. The good news is that his co-starter at left tackle, Brandon Coleman, has practiced on a limited basis as he works his way back from a concussion.
