The official Walmart Black Friday 2024 ad may not have been officially released yet, but we have all the details to help you prepare.
This year’s Black Friday is November 29th, but Walmart is starting it earlier. And just like last year, there will be not just one, but two Black Friday deal events, and even more sales on Cyber Monday. 😱
Once again this year, the retailer’s paid Walmart+ members will have early access to all sales online starting Monday, November 11th at noon ET. Walmart+ members also receive unlimited free shipping with no minimum order amount.
Others can purchase the first round of the online sale starting November 11th at 5pm ET. The in-store sale will begin a few days later on Friday, November 15th at 6am local time.
New to Walmart’s Black Friday sale this year is a surprise sale midway through the event, exclusive to online and the Walmart app. We’ll keep an eye on them and let you know when the best surprise deals pop up!
Walmart’s second Black Friday event begins on Monday, November 25th at 5pm ET, with early access for Walmart+ members starting at noon ET on November 25th. Walmart will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but sales will continue in-store from 6 a.m. local time on Black Friday, November 29.
You can also expect more sales on Cyber Monday, which starts on Sunday, December 1st. The Cyber Monday sale begins at 5pm ET exclusively for Walmart+ paying members and at 8pm ET for all other customers online and within the Walmart app.

Check out the new features available this year for Walmart holiday shoppers…
Shop with an AI assistant: Walmart is expanding beta testing of a GenAI-powered shopping assistant that helps customers find and rate products while shopping online.
ADDITIONAL DELIVERY OPTIONS: Walmart is offering extra convenience this holiday season with early morning delivery and express delivery in as little as 30 minutes.
Walmart Layaway is not available this holiday season.
For the fourth year in a row, Walmart will not offer its popular in-store curbside pickup service during the holiday season. Instead, it uses the Affirm program to give shoppers the opportunity to spread their holiday spending over a period of three to 24 months.
Affirm offers a “buy now, pay later” plan that is loosely based on the layaway concept, but with some key differences. If you want to learn more, check out everything you need to know about Affirm at Walmart.com.
