SILVERTON — Freshman quarterback Cooper Miller ran for 250 yards and five touchdowns for the Miners in a North Star League win over the Saints at Sather Field.
Miller also threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Gus Scott.
Greg Hayes threw a touchdown pass to Ben Connelly in the first quarter for Coeur du Christ. Hayes also recovered a fumble in the fourth quarter.
Freshman quarterback Grant Clemens threw five touchdowns against Cours du Crist (2-5, 2-3).
For the Saints, Hayes and John Denke each caught two TD passes, and Eli Zamber caught one.

Kellogg — The visiting Bulldogs built a 30-8 lead at halftime and defeated the Wildcats to win the Central Idaho League title at Teeters Field.
The Wildcats forced fumbles on consecutive possessions in the first quarter, but were unable to convert on offense. The third quarter was a different story as the Wildcats scored 14 unanswered points to bring the Bulldogs within two points, but Grangeville fought back with two touchdowns of their own in the fourth to put the game away. .
During the game, the Wildcats’ inability to stop runs was once again exposed as Grangeville drove the ball into the heart of the Kellogg defense.
Kellogg’s Porter Lewis connected with junior wideout Radley McDonald four times for 190 yards and three touchdowns.
Kellogg (3-5, 2-1 CIL) heads to Priest River next Friday in a game that could decide a 3A playoff spot.

Kellogg — The top-seeded and host Wildcats saw their season end early, dropping back-to-back games in the District I/II tournament.
Kellogg opened the season against Priest River, which defeated St. Mary’s earlier in the day.
The Spartans pounced on Kellogg, but the Wildcats had no answer and lost in four sets, 25-23, 25-19, 11-25, 25-18.
Sophomore Paige Irjana had 12 kills and 25 digs, and junior Dani Henrickson had 13 kills for the top-seeded Wildcats against Priest River.
“We made a lot of mistakes,” Kellogg coach Stephanie Batchelder said. “We were serving and hitting the ball into the net, but we were very timid and afraid of making mistakes. Priest River was wild, but this was really our fault.”
For Kellogg, sophomore Ella Ilyana had 17 assists and six aces, sophomore Jordyn Stutzke had 20 goals and senior Aubrey Gross had five blocks.
With their backs against the wall, the Wildcats faced Orofino in the elimination game. Kellogg got off to a strong start, but Orofino won three straight sets to come from behind to win 14-25, 18-25, 25-23, 25-12, 15-13, ending the Cats’ season. .
The Maniacs defeated Priest River in three sets to advance to the 3A state play-in match later this week.
Grangeville defeated Priest River to win the district championship earlier in the day.

POST FALLS — The Miners won for the third time this season as Genesis Prep defeated the Jaguars for the third time, 25-12, 25-10, 25-18, in the semifinals of the 2A District 1 Tournament at The Courts at Real Life. I can’t understand the Jaguars. .
