The Osakis Silverstreaks achieved their third straight victory with a 52-8 (0-8) road win at Maple Lake on Wednesday, October 16th.
Osakis scored on two touchdown passes in the first quarter from Trenton Van Neuhaus to North Dakota’s Seth Stalock.
From there, it was the running game that took control for the Silver Streaks.
Osakis scored four rushing touchdowns, Van Nijhaus scored two rushing touchdowns, and Reggie George and Marcello Falzone both scored one rushing touchdown.
Osakis’ other touchdown was a 4-yard pass from Carter Johnston to Tyler Walbeck.
Osakis’ Zachary Winkle blocked a punt and helped his team win.
The Silver Streaks are the third seed in the Section 6 2A tournament and will play second-seeded Pillager (7-1) on the road at 2 p.m.
The winner of this game will advance to either No. 1 seed Staples-Motley (8-0) or No. 4 seed Menagah (1-0) in the Section 6-2A championship game to be played Nov. 1 at 3 p.m. at the Fargo Dome. 7 losses).
