Cross Country: Northwest Conference Championship Wednesday, Oct. 23, 3:20 p.m., at Civic Stadium.
The Northwest Conference cross country teams will begin the 2024 fall sports postseason with races at Civic Stadium. This will be the second time these teams will meet at the stadium, and they will also do so in September’s Gear Up Northwest Preview. Several runners will start making impressive strides toward state titles.
WWU Men’s Basketball Blue-White Scrimmage, Sunday, Oct. 20, 1 p.m., Carver Gym.
The men’s basketball team will begin the preseason with an interteam scrimmage on its home court. The freshmen will get to showcase their talents for the first time, and the seniors will play in their final scrimmage before the 2024-25 season begins.
Howl-O-Ween Downtown Dog Parade Sunday, October 27th, 12-3pm, Downtown Bellingham
Howl-O-Ween will feature lots of dogs in costume, music by the Mighty Bayou Opossums, a costume contest, a photo booth, dog pastries, tricks and treats, dog trivia and more. Proceeds will be donated to Shadow’s Forever Friends.
