PORTALES, N.M. – October 9, 2024 – Eastern New Mexico University earns status as a “Best College” by U.S. News and World Report due to its superior recognition in the recently released 2025 Best Colleges rankings I did.
Eastern New Mexico ranks 46th out of 115 in social mobility among Western regional universities, an improvement of 24 spots from 2024. Social mobility rankings focus on economically disadvantaged students, who are less likely to graduate from college than other students. Other features.
Universities accredited in this category are more successful than others in increasing social mobility by enrolling and graduating a greater proportion of disadvantaged students awarded Pell Grants. Eastern New Mexico University was also ranked as one of the top 50 public universities in the West and one of the top 100 regional universities in the West.
