LYNCHBURG, Va. — Lynchburg University Director of Athletics and Track and Field John Waters is excited to announce this year’s Champions Week of Giving.
At the Lynchburg Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Dinner on Thursday, October 17th at 6:30 p.m., and in preparation for Lynchburg’s Homecoming this weekend, the athletic department will celebrate the history and accomplishments of each of Lynchburg’s athletic programs. We are hosting a week of giving focused on reflection. For the future of these programs, student-athletes, and champions.
Message from Director of Athletics John Waters: “Champions Week of Giving provides an opportunity for donors, friends and family to inspire excellence by supporting our athletic programs through their donations. Your support will go directly to creating moments of transformation for our student-athletes and our community.”This year, in addition to specific team needs, we will support baseball, tennis, equestrian, and Turner Gym game days. We also offer facility upgrade opportunities for upgrades. Thank you for your support. If you have any questions or would like to continue participating, please contact us directly.
