My home was robbed on Friday night.
OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, MI – Investigators believe a multinational gang is involved in the robbery of a luxury home in Oakland Township.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said Friday, Oct. 11, 2024, that the methods used by robbers in Oakland Township are the same as those used by multinational gangs to break into luxury homes.
“We encourage area residents to be vigilant and to report any suspicious activity in the area to law enforcement,” the sheriff’s office said in a social media post.
Authorities previously said they believed a multinational gang was sending people into luxury homes to steal cash and jewelry. The robbery appears to have been targeted rather than random.
