It’s not just the island itself that you need to be careful about, but also other players, especially around Cutlass Key. In addition to the constant threat of PvP, less frequent dangers lurk throughout Eternal Isle during seasonal events. Check out this week’s episode of Discovering Aeternum for a preview of the Cursed Mists PvP zone and some of the bosses you’ll encounter during the event, including Nightveil Hallow.
Cursed Mist PvP Zone
The misty southwest of Cutlass Keys is a lawless land, where the curse of La Esperanza’s treasure of “gold greed” drives those seeking wealth to a murderous madness. Even the closest allies can fatally betray one another. Collect cursed doubloons and resources. However, you must escape before other looters steal your loot.
Obtain Peek into the cursed fog from within Ahead of its release on October 15th New World: Aeternum.

The dreaded Marquis Balfads will rise again and the Nightveil Halo seasonal event will return on October 22nd. Banish shadow demons into the darkness, wear unique costumes, and trick-or-treat for candy rewards with magical abilities.
Turcuron
Satisfy your hunger for carnage with the juicy Drumstick of Death Flail skin when Turcuron returns on November 19th. Hunt down the Feathered Avenger of Death and his “army of birds” to earn unique event-specific items. Other exciting rewards await, including the Grand Gobbler War Hammer and the Giant Turkey Leg.

Cold winds and sparkling grimeite once again fill the air during December’s Winter Convergence Festival. Visit winter villages, meet winter wanderers, and stop winter warriors before eternal winter covers the land. You can also earn limited-time rewards, including festival skins, emotes, housing items, and more.
