Donald Trump has seemingly hinted that Vivek Ramaswamy will play a role in his administration if he wins the next election. While campaigning in Scranton, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, October 9, the former president said the “smart as hell” Ramaswamy initially gave him a tough competition. “He’s really smart, and I look forward to him being involved in our administration,” President Trump said. “We can appoint him one of our big monsters (in government) and he’ll do a better job than anyone you can think of.”
“He will be with us in some way.”
President Trump made similar claims at a rally in Wisconsin in June. President Trump called Ramaswamy a “smart guy” and suggested he would be part of his team.
“If you let Mr. Vivec do it, he’ll get it done,” Trump said of his administration’s tariff deal with French President Emmanuel Macron.
“He’s going to be with us in some way,” Trump said of Ramaswamy.
Ramaswamy supported Trump after withdrawing from the race. Later, during a rally in Atkinson, Ramaswamy referred to the former president and said there was no “better choice” than him. He also urged voters to do “the right thing.”
“There are no better options left in this race than this man right here,” Ramaswamy said at the time. “That’s why I’m asking you to do the right thing as New Hampshire and vote for Donald Trump as your next president. “I’m doing it,” he said. .
President Trump at the time thanked Ramaswamy for his support and said the Indian-American leaders would work together “for a long time.” President Trump said: “I’m honored to have his support. He has worked with us and will continue to work with us for a long time. Thank you.”
Ramaswamy has been one of the strongest defenders of the charges against Trump. He called the former president the “greatest president” of the 21st century.
