David Gallo has been named chairman of the board of Magnolia Community Services.
Gallo is CEO and President of Gallo Mechanical and a longtime leader in the nonprofit community.
Magnolia Community Services provides services, leadership, and advocacy to individuals with developmental disabilities in the New Orleans metropolitan area.

Suzanne H. Stinson was elected Chair of the Louisiana Judiciary Commission, and Third Judicial District Court Judge Bruce E. Hampton was elected Vice Chair.
Mr. Stinson, of Bossier Parish, will replace Judge Robin D. Pittman of Orleans Criminal District Court as chair. She is a retired court administrator for the 26th Judicial District Court in Bossier City. Stinson is the president of Geaux4Kids, an advocacy group for children in foster care. She earned her bachelor’s degree, honors, master’s degree in business administration, and master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology, all from Louisiana Tech University.
Hampton, a Ruston native, will replace Stinson. He was elected judge in 2018 after spending 37 years as a lawyer in Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi. During that time, Hampton served as an assistant district attorney and as an advisor to the Union Parish Police Jury. He earned his law degree with honors from Tulane University School of Law and his master of law degree from Southern Methodist University.
The Louisiana Judicial Commission is a nine-member body that reviews allegations of judicial misconduct and recommends appropriate discipline.

Hannah Hubbell and William Netter were honored by the American Institute of Architects of Louisiana.
Mr. Hubbell, an architectural designer with NANO Architecture/Interior in New Orleans, received the Associates Professional Achievement Award. This is the highest award given to an individual Associate AIA member and recognizes leadership and contributions to the industry.
Netter, an architect with EskewDumezRipple in New Orleans, received the Emerging Professional Award. This award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership early in their careers and have made significant contributions to their industry.
