GLENVIEW, IL — Organizers of the annual Girlfriends Boutique and Bites event wanted to give attendees more time to shop, with nearly 30 vendors at the venue. The fundraiser, which supports Friends of Youth Services, is scheduled for Oct. 24 from noon to 8 p.m. at the Renaissance Chicago Glenview Suites Hotel, 1400 Milwaukee Avenue.
Organizers say Girlfriends Boutique and Bites is the perfect place to “prepare for the holidays, enjoy a pint, and work with others to support hope and resilience for all children.” states. Wine, beer, and water are also available for purchase. The event will feature “amazing finds” including clothing, accessories, jewelry, home decor and more.
Proceeds from this event will go directly to Youth Services, which serves more than 1,800 local children along the northern suburbs each year and is committed to ensuring that “no child is denied essential services. , we offer the most generous sliding scale and scholarship programs in the region.”

Tickets to the event are $25 and include admission to the event, a welcome drink, and light refreshments. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
