Former Boston Bruins forward Tomas Nosek signed a one-year, $775,000 contract with the Florida Panthers this offseason. This comes after the 32-year-old played in 36 games with the New Jersey Devils last season, posting two goals, four assists, and a minus-11 rating.

Overall, it was a challenging year for Nosek as he dealt with injury issues and struggled to produce. Unfortunately, his 2024-25 season got off to a bad start.
Nosek suffered an upper-body injury during the Panthers’ recent preseason contest against the Nashville Predators. Panthers head coach Paul Maurice said Nosek will miss “weeks, not days.”
This is certainly disappointing news regarding Nosek. The veteran forward is aiming for a bounce-back season with his new club, but will be sidelined for a significant period of time. I hope he recovers quickly and doesn’t experience any setbacks along the way.
In 141 games over two seasons as a Bruin, Nosek had 10 goals, 35 points, and 65 hits.
