Families honor their loved ones by lighting lanterns at Pine Lawn.
Pinelawn Memorial Park and Arboretum welcomed more than 500 families from across Long Island to its 4th Annual Lantern Lighting Ceremony. The event provided a space for families to celebrate the life of their deceased loved one in a unique and heartfelt ceremony.
To aid in the healing process, Pinelawn partnered with the Long Island-based nonprofit Paws of War to include a therapy dog in the ceremony and provide support to the grieving family.
