Oklahoma State University’s undergraduate business programs were recognized in U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 Best Colleges rankings, released today, placing them in the top 15 percent of accredited business schools in the United States.
The Spears School of Business’ undergraduate program rose seven spots from 84th to a tie for 77th place out of more than 530 programs included in the ranking. As part of compiling its rankings, U.S. News surveyed deans and senior faculty of undergraduate business programs accredited by the Association of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
Additionally, the Spears Business Entrepreneurship Program was ranked 31st nationally in U.S. News’ Best Entrepreneurship Programs rankings.
“The improved rankings reflect the dedication of Spears School of Business faculty and staff to our students,” said Dr. Jim Payne, dean of the Spears School of Business. “Earning this ranking from business school peers across the nation is the highest compliment we can receive. Providing a quality education to our students continues to be our number one priority.”
The business school’s undergraduate programs are consistently ranked within the top 15 percent nationally and are not the only Spears Business program to receive recognition from U.S. News in recent months.
In February, OSU’s Online MBA was ranked 16th in the nation by U.S. News, the program’s first top 20 ranking in history. Additionally, OSU’s Business Analytics Online MBA tied for 20th in the rankings and tied for 14th among online MBA programs for veterans. In the spring, OSU’s Full-Time MBA soared to 76th in the nation, while its Part-Time MBA remained within the top 60 in the country.
