Natalie (formerly Nadia) Suleiman, known as “Octomom,” has welcomed another little one into her already incredibly large family. The mother of 14 announced on her Instagram on Sunday that she’s now a grandmother to a little girl.
Suleman, 49, accompanied the announcement with a photo of the baby’s tiny feet hidden behind a pink baby blanket.
“Thank you to my son and adorable daughter-in-law for this beautiful gift!” wrote the mom, who gained international attention when she gave birth to her first set of octuplets in 2009. “So blessed to have her join our family! Baby girl, you are so loved and I can’t wait to watch you grow up!! August 30th 2024 🙏🏽❤️,” Suleman added, apparently referring to the little newborn’s birthday.
The octomom conceived octuplets through IVF and gave birth to the babies via Caesarean section.
The octuplets – six boys and two girls – have been given biblical names: Noah, Maria, Isaiah, Nariyah, Jonah, Makai, Josiah and Jeremiah. Suleman was already a mother to six other children before the birth: Amera, Carissa, Elijah, Caleb, Joshua and Aidan.
The new grandmother declined to reveal which of her 10 sons is the father of the little girl.
Suleman has kept a relatively low profile over the past decade apart from the occasional TV appearance, but she maintains an active social media presence on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse into life as a mother of 14 children.
In January this year, Suleman celebrated the 15th anniversary of the birth of her octuplets with an Instagram post wishing all eight of her children a happy birthday, complete with a photo of them as babies standing in front of a birthday cake.
The caption read, “I am so proud of the people you have grown into! Stay true to yourself, humble, kind and honest. I am so grateful for your love and so happy to have you in my life. I love you ❤️.”
