This specialized trolley features advanced shock absorbing cushioning to protect the sensitive engine from road shocks.
It is powerfully driven, has a maximum payload of 13,800 kg and has flexible loading options in 16′ x-load, 20′ and 10′ configurations, providing a seamless and safe transport solution. The dolly is compatible with Trent engines from the 500 to 1000 versions used in Boeing and Airbus models. Additionally, it is versatile enough to handle RZX containers (ASML).
David Canavan, Chief Operating Officer at Challenge Group, said: “This innovative engine dolly significantly enhances our operational capabilities and gives us a clear advantage over our competitors. By safely and efficiently transporting aircraft engines directly from the unloading point to the aircraft door, it not only streamlines the process but also minimises the risks associated with warehouse and runway vibrations.”
