A judge denied bail Saturday for a man accused of killing a woman at a Newnan gun shop.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has charged 38-year-old Brannon Owens with murder and aggravated assault.
Investigators accuse Owens of shooting and killing Olivia Robinson, 28, inside Oz Cutlery (also known as Oz Tactical) on Friday just before 9:30 p.m.

“She always lit up a room and had the best sense of humor,” Michael Chavez told Channel 2’s Courtney Francisco.
Chavez said he and Robinson grew up in Newnan.
She was a graduate of Kennesaw State University and helped run the family’s business, he said.
“She was a great business woman who worked extremely hard, was very independent and fun to be around,” Chavez said.
An employee at a next door gun store said Owens owned the store and knew Robinson.
They heard gunfire and called for help.
Ron and Sandra Camp, who live nearby, told Francisco that the murder happened just as the city’s Art Walk was ending at the square.
“People were just starting to head out to their cars,” Sandra Camp said.
“I’m shocked that a shooting could happen in the plaza and something like this could happen in the plaza,” Ron Camp said.
A federal firearms permit for Oz Cutlery in Newnan is listed as expired and does not list Owens as the owner.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives did not respond to a request Saturday to confirm compliance.
