Charging accessories have just become so cool, thanks to a healthy amount of competition within the industry. But let’s be honest, Anker and UGREEN in particular are doing it big time. Both brands make very high-quality gear, but while Anker’s style is more focused on aesthetics, UGREEN takes a more unique approach, adding an adorable face to their already sleek-looking accessories.
I test a new power bank or charger every week – actually at least one every week – and at some point they all blend into one, so this differentiation is really important to keep things fresh.
UGREEN has released a series of chargers with cute faces, and I’m all for it. Not only do they look cute, but they also have all the speed and power you need. The adorable Nexode Robot GaN series comes in 65W and 30W options. I’m even more excited about UGREEN’s latest release, the Uno accessory lineup. The accessories include a Qi2 charging station, a USB-C hub, a 100W USB-C cable with display, plus multiple power banks and chargers.
Amazon has announced that Prime Day 2.0 will run from October 8th to 9th. At UGREEN, we always have great sales on Prime Day, so now is the perfect time to splurge on some functional and cute charging tech. Here are some of my favorite cute UGREEN chargers and portable battery packs that I have tested and highly recommend. These are great gift ideas, so add them to your holiday shopping list.

This precious Qi2 charger is actually a charging station with a smiling face on the display. It delivers 15W wirelessly to compatible Android and iOS devices. The foldable Qi2 pad on top is magnetic so you can place it on any MagSafe iPhone or Android device that supports wireless charging. For Android phones, you can easily add extra magnetic power with the good old MagSafe adapter ring. It can be tilted to hold it at any angle, so it can be used as both a phone holder and a charging stand.
Beyond that, there’s a 5W wireless charging pad hidden under the foldable 15W pad. It’s advertised as being for Apple AirPods, but I tested regular wireless earphones and they charged just as well. There are two USB-C ports, one input port on the back for powering the charging station itself, and one 5W USB-C output port for charging a second device.
UGREEN Uno USB-C to USB-C Cable 100W

Phones, tablets, and laptops all use USB-C ports, and most good phones and devices support very fast charging. If you’re using a USB-C charger with a charging speed of 60W or higher, you’ll need to use a compatible 5A cable to actually get that speed. These are also called e-mark cables. If you’re using a charger that’s 100W or higher, you’ll need to upgrade your e-mark 5A cable to a 100W cable instead of a 60W cable.
Don’t waste your money on super expensive e-marked cables. Instead, buy UGREEN’s Uno USB-C to USB-C Cable 100W. This nylon braided cord is tear-resistant and durable. It delivers the fastest charging speeds for 60W to 100W chargers. It can withstand quite a lot of biting and scratching from cats and dogs.
I love all of UGREEN’s braided USB-C cables, but this one is even better because it has a built-in display. I was expecting the display to show the charging wattage of my device, but instead it showed smiling eyes. Not practical, but it sure looks nice. Needless to say, this $13 cable is awfully cheap, so I don’t care if the LED display is cosmetic.
UGREEN Uno 6 in 1 USB-C Hub

This is not a charger, but you can use it as a charger when connected to your laptop or Chromebook. The UGREEN Uno 6 in 1 USB-C hub is perfect for Chromebooks, laptops, and any other PC that doesn’t have enough ports. Unique to the UGREEN Uno series, this hub comes with an LED display that lights up with a smile when in use.
This lightweight USB-C hub adds one HDMI 2.0 port, two 10Gbps USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two 10Gbps USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, and one PD 100W USB-C port. It supports Windows, macOS, Chrome OS, and Linux platforms. I used it with my Lenovo Duet 5 Chromebook, which is severely lacking in ports, and it was a seamless experience.
On top of that, UGREEN also promises that the hub can be used with Android and iOS smartphones and tablets. I used the UGREEN Uno 6 in 1 USB-C hub to connect a regular USB-A thumb drive to my OnePlus 12R and it worked perfectly. It was very easy to view and copy files. So, I can vouch for its compatibility with Android.
