As the shopping season approaches, businesses across the country are stepping up hiring for the holiday season.

target
The company said this week that it would hire about 100,000 seasonal workers for its stores and supply chain facilities.
The company is launching a special jobs portal, TargetSeasonalJobs.com, on September 25 to make it easier to apply. Many of those hired for seasonal work in 2024 will be offered the opportunity to stay with Target after the holidays, the company said. Other jobs can be applied for through the regular Target job site.
Starting wages range from $15 to $24 per hour, and some jobs include health benefits. Employees get a 10% discount on Target merchandise and an additional 20% off health-related products.

Macy’s
The department store said it hopes to hire more than 31,500 full-time and part-time seasonal workers this year at its flagship stores as well as Bloomingdale’s and Bluemercury locations.
The company also has job openings at its distribution centers.
Applicants can search for jobs online at the following sites: It takes just 5 minutes to find a job and receive an offer within 48 hours.
Additionally, four face-to-face recruitment events will be held across all stores and supply chain locations.

Bath & Body Works
Bath & Body Works said this week it will hire about 30,000 seasonal workers to staff 1,800 stores, plus 2,700 to work at a distribution center in Ohio.
Job openings include part-time seasonal sales associates in the stores and full-time product handlers, processors, aerial workers and loaders at the company’s distribution centers.
You can apply for the seasonal retail jobs online until October 26th, or at a national hiring event on September 28th, where candidates can visit a local store for an interview. If you qualify, you’ll be contacted shortly after the job offer.
