The Houston Texans improved to 2-0 with a 19-13 win over the Chicago Bears behind a stellar defense and efficient play from CJ Stroud. Stroud continued his no interception streak from last season and threw for 260 yards and a touchdown, part of a game in which Nico Collins had 135 yards on eight catches.
A strong night for the Texans offense was also a tough night for the Bears and Caleb Williams, as the No. 1 overall pick was sacked seven times and intercepted twice. The Bears trailed for most of the game, managing just 71 yards on the ground.
On the injury front, Texans running back Joe Mixon left the game in the first half with an ankle injury but was able to return for a few carries in the second half.
