Aspire Johnson County is seeking employers to join the organization’s high school student workforce development efforts.
Aspire’s collaboration with educators and employers is part of its ongoing commitment to building the talent pipeline for local businesses and stimulating the economy by preparing the next generation of workforce to thrive.
At these conferences, business leaders speak to students about their career paths, introduce their companies, products and services, and share information about training and internship opportunities that may be of interest to attending students.

Johnson County Real Estate Updates
In August, Johnson County’s residential real estate market boomed to levels not seen in months, with sales and inventory both increasing but prices falling.
Specifically, in Johnson County in August:
Pending home sales are up 15.8% compared to the same time last year and available inventory is up 50.9% compared to last year. The average home sales price is down 17.2% compared to last August to $279,928.
The company acquires the Greenwood property.
RailField, a multifamily investment and asset management company, announced the acquisition of The Hangar.
Located at 1140 Emerson Pointe Drive in Greenwood, this prime location offers convenient access to workplaces, retail, restaurants and entertainment. The 218-unit property is comprised of a three-story mid-rise building with a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans with in-unit washers and dryers.
