NEW BRITAIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A 14,500-square-foot luxury pet hotel will celebrate its grand opening with an open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, at 11oo Horizon Circle in Chalfont in New Britain Township.
Located at the intersection of County Line Road and Upper State Road, near Ark Animal Hospital and Grand View Health Center, the newest five-star K9 resort is owned and operated by Chalfont locals Kunal Patel and Tarika Patel.
Often referred to as the Ritz-Carlton of dog hotels, New Jersey-based K9 Resorts offers dog daycare and luxury boarding with five-star, state-of-the-art amenities, including premium Kuranda bedding, micro-bahns built into the floors and advanced hospital-grade air purification systems.

The open house on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, special grand opening discounts on food, beverages and services from local vendors including Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard.
Attendees will be given a tour of the brand new facility and will get a first-hand look at the luxurious executive suites, complete with chandeliers, Italian floors, intricate architectural moldings and flat-screen TVs.
