Dreamliner Luxury Coaches, a provider of luxury travel coaches for the music and entertainment industry, has announced the appointment of Tara Semb as its first Chief Financial Officer.
Rich Thompson, founder and CEO of the Nashville, Tennessee company, called the appointments an important move to drive the next phase of its development.
“Tara’s extensive experience in both private and public companies will be valuable as Dreamliner continues to expand its customer offerings,” Thomson said. “In her new role as CFO, Tara will play a key role in guiding the company with business strategy and systems to help us achieve our year-over-year targets.”
The four-year-old company has been growing rapidly: Last year, Dreamliner acquired Hemphill Brothers Coach Co., which nearly tripled its fleet to 190 buses.
The Nashville-based company was founded just three years ago and is now the largest provider of celebrity coaching in the world.

Semb has three decades of finance expertise and has led multiple organizations through significant growth.
She previously served as APYX Medical Corporation’s first CFO, where she was responsible for overhauling finance and IT processes, enhancing reporting and compliance, and managing a major financial transition that included a global software implementation during the pandemic.
Mr. Sem is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Financial Professional and a Certified Mergers and Acquisitions Advisor. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Illinois and an MBA, cum laude, from the University of Washington.
“I am pleased to be joining Dreamliner at this exciting time in its growth,” said Semb. “The opportunity to expand the business into a best-in-class organization is extremely attractive, and I look forward to working closely with Rich and the rest of the team as we embark on this next chapter.”
