The Arizona Chamber of Commerce and the Arizona Manufacturing Council (AMC) have announced the return of “Hottest Products Made in Arizona,” a competition that will spotlight Arizona’s manufacturing community and showcase the best products made in Arizona.
With more than 630,000 workers and an annual economic contribution of more than $77 billion, Arizona’s manufacturing sector is one of the fastest growing in the U.S. This competition was designed to celebrate that success, inviting the public to nominate products made in the state.
Nominations are open to everyone, and participants can submit as many products as they like, as long as the products are made in Arizona, but companies do not have to be headquartered in the state.
Nominations must be submitted via the official competition website and require details of each product, including the manufacturer’s name and the nominator’s contact information.
After the nomination period ends, the public can vote for their favorite products. The top three products with the most votes will advance to the final round, where the voting count will be reset. Winners will be announced at a special reception during the 2024 Manufacturing Workforce Summit in October.
The contest was held for the first time last year, with a Boeing AH-64 Apache helicopter emerging as the inaugural winner, and organizers are hoping for an even bigger response this year as the competition continues to spotlight the creativity, innovation and pride that characterizes Arizona manufacturing.
