President-elect Trump’s election victory was a disaster for the left, marking the worst electoral victory since President Bush endorsed Ronald Reagan in 1988. But rather than accept that and try to move forward, the left and the journalists who love them are choosing another option. – run away.
Some people want to run away from something unpleasant, like social media and media that they thought were friendly just a few days ago, while others want to send in the Mayflower van. In any case, the new motto of the far left should be “Run!” Monty Python in all its glory.
Here are five of the worst examples of the left’s own Great Flight.

When faced with danger, the characters in the 1975 comedy film “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” yelled, “Run!” And do it. (Warner Bros./Hulton Archive/Getty Images)
1. Goodbye X, Hello Why
The left has been running away from Twitter/X ever since Elon Musk first discussed buying it. Those who left Twitter took refuge in Threads and Mastodon, and now the latest, Bluesky. Some of the most memorable social media voices against liberal insanity have jumped the co-op and moved to new platforms. Actress Alyssa Milano, actor Mark Hamill, author Stephen King, and former CNN anchor Don Lemon all found great success.
Joe Rogan asks Elon Musk to take Rachel Maddow’s job if he buys MSNBC
They weren’t alone. Prominent companies like 3M and Balenciaga joined them, as did media outlets like the Guardian and the taxpayer-funded left wing of NPR. The Hollywood Reporter reported a typical media review: “‘Blue Sky has the juice’: Celebrities flee rival social media site’s ‘toxic’ X.” (Yes, free speech is “harmful,” but the leftist bubble is beneficial. There’s no bigotry at all.)
And as soon as I got to my new home, I complained that it was poisonous too. Blue Sky’s overworked safety team posted the following on November 15th while they were out. “In the past 24 hours, we have received over 42,000 reports (highest ever for a single day). We are receiving approximately 3,000 reports per hour. To put this into context, 360,000 in all of 2023. We have received a report.”
As Tim Curry sang in “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” “Because I’ve seen blue skies through tears in my eyes.” Liberal tears are likely to become a reality wherever we go over the next four years.
2. Running from MSNBC
The left is not only running away from social media, but…is it running away from MSNBC? The far-left network experienced a ratings collapse as viewers did their best impressions of two of the three legendary wise monkeys, determined to see no evil and hear no evil.
Liberals outraged over ‘Morning Joe’ ‘betrayal’ after co-host meets with President Trump: ‘We will not forgive’
The Wrap reported that MSNBC’s viewership was “down 48% since the election.” Then there are the far-left weirdos whose “Morning Joe” co-hosts, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, met with Donald. The New York Post reported that the pair aired “the lowest-rated show since 2021.”
And the mob also came after them. Washington Post media reporter Eric Wempe wrote, “Five reasons why Democrats should stop watching ‘Morning Joe,'” and the paper’s left-handed columnist Jen Rubin said, “You can stop watching Morning Joe at any time.” Posted on Blue Sky. A Salon commentator declared, “‘Morning Joe’ should be abolished.” Journalism professor Jeff Jarvis also told Blue Sky that over a screenshot of Morning Joe talking about leaving Twitter, he wrote, “Hmm. What else are liberals leaving?…” Posted.
3. Running from MSNBC II
It’s not just viewers who are fleeing MSNBC. Its owner does the same. Comcast, which owns numerous cable channels including MSNBC, CNBC, USA, SYFY, and E!, will spin them off into separate companies. But the “News” channel could also lose its name, since it’s no longer part of NBCUniversal. And no one knows whether NBC staff will continue to appear.
Host Rachel Maddow also agreed to reduce her hefty salary from $30 million a year to $25 million a year to keep the failing network afloat. The network wanted to keep her, especially considering the poor ratings. One executive reportedly called her “Viagra Reviews.”

One man who may be in the running for MSNBC could be the world’s top billionaire, Elon Musk. When Donald Trump Jr. suggested on Twitter, “The funniest idea ever!!!” when Musk bought the network, Musk’s immediate response was when he was first asked about buying Twitter. It was the same as before. “What’s the price?” My boss says it’s not for sale. But perhaps Elon will make them an offer they can’t refuse.
4. Leave the United States
Every election, some famous leftists claim they will leave America if their camp doesn’t win. In this election, someone took over. Former talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi have relocated to Mary All England.
Of course, this barely touches on the long list of celebrities who have said they’ll be jetting off. These include actresses America Ferrera and Sharon Stone, and entertainers Cher and Barbra Streisand. If they leave, don’t expect them to suffer. The Biden-Harris economy has made it difficult for ordinary Americans to buy food, let alone travel. Millionaire lib was less affected.

5. Take another 4 years off
Florida-based Villa Vie Residences has announced a true get-away-from-the-Trump cruise package. “From just under $40,000 a year,” you can cruise around the world and avoid Trump the Sequel entirely. That’s the “4 Year Skip Forward” package.
Their press release states, “The extraordinary Continuous World Cruise invites travelers to discover more than 425 ports in more than 140 countries across seven continents as it circumnavigates the globe every three and a half years. ”. For more than $160,000, you can see the world and avoid Trump, but you’d better pray to Gaia that J.D. Vance doesn’t win in 2028. Also, be sure to have a lifetime supply of seasickness medication just in case.
