The days of Aaron Rodgers with the Jets have passed by surprise.
After the hype and excitement surrounding the future Hall of Fame induction into New York, the Jets are left with more controversy than victory, pushing them to the ass of every joke. With new head coaches and GMs being led, New York is entering a new era without Rogers.
Where can Rogers go after being cut by the Jets? Here are some destinations that make sense.
4. Pittsburgh Steelers
It’s no secret that Rogers and Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin respect each other. That’s certainly true.
The Steelers currently do not have a QB signed for the 2025 season. Both Russell Wilson and Justinfield aren’t enough to get the Steelers the wildcard hump they’re stuck on. Pittsburgh has many meanings.
3. Tennessee Titans
Titans head coach Brian Callahan has been openly defending anyone who can manipulate his pockets like Sinky’s Joe Barrow and work snaps in advance and in the post. Why not try swinging on one of the most supercomputer QBs of all available free agent QBs? Titan spent a lot of money on veteran free agents. If they really want to be the best player in the draft, having a QB like Rodgers on the first overall pick is not a bad plan.
2. Las Vegas Raiders
Raiders may already be linked to another aging veterinarian QB (when was Russ-Pete Reunion?), but Rogers also makes sense here. In addition to the divisions with QBS Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert, coaching Sean Payton, Andy Reid and Jim Harbaugh may be important for the Raiders to have experience fighting those guys. Additionally, they will notice that they look outside when it comes to drafting QBs, so if you can’t get a new QB early, the Rogers route is available.
