Getting to high-end travel spots usually costs an arm and a leg, but flights to certain high-end locations are expected to become cheaper next year. According to a new report from Dollar Flight Club, the main reason airline tickets to luxury destinations will be cheaper in 2025 compared to 2024 is due to increased competition.
“Low-cost carriers are expanding into key markets, and traditional carriers are responding with more competitive pricing with bare-bones basic economy fares,” the report said.
“Additionally, we are in the final stages of post-pandemic stabilization, with airlines adjusting capacity and impacting pricing,” the report continued. “Overall, these changes mean travelers heading to historically expensive destinations can expect great deals in 2025.”
Here are three luxury destinations you can travel to on the cheap in 2025.
Paris
The City of Lights may be more affordable than you think. Dollar Flight Club reports that a round-trip ticket from New York’s JFK Airport now costs $326, down 15% from last year’s $384.
london
Flights to London will also be cheaper in 2025. The average cost of a flight to Heathrow Airport in 2025 is $296, reflecting a 20% reduction compared to last year’s average of $370.
miami
If you’re looking for a luxury domestic trip, Miami is the place for you. The average cost of a domestic flight to Miami this year is $108, down 25% from last year’s average of $144.
