BEMIDJI — 218 Sports will host Kids Dash and Raphael’s Reindeer Run 5K events during Night We Light weekend.
The Kids Dash is a short two-block run that will begin on Beltrami Avenue near the Science Center on Friday, November 29th at 5:30 p.m., prior to the Night We Write Parade.
All participants will receive an official Kids Dash finisher medal. According to the release, the recommended age is 12 years and under.
Cost is $5 per participant. Parents must register their children online prior to the event.
Raphael’s Reindeer Run is a 5km run/walk that will be held at Paul Bunyan Park on Saturday, November 30th at 9am.
All participants will receive a Raphael’s Reindeer Run crewneck sweatshirt, donuts, coffee and hot chocolate provided by Raphael’s Bakery, as well as top place and best-dressed prizes, according to the release.
The cost for the 5K event is $40 per participant.
