The 20th Annual Charity Sports Auction, hosted by the Sports Management Club of the Falk College of Sports and Human Dynamics, benefits the Syracuse Rescue Mission Alliance, with all monies raised staying within Syracuse and Onondaga County.
The entirely student-run event will be held in a hybrid format, with bidding opening online through Classy Live on December 8th and ending with the Orange men’s basketball team taking on Albany at the JMA Wireless Dome on December 10th. This will continue face-to-face. Online bidding ends Wednesday, December 11th at 8pm EST.
Rescue Mission aims to “put love into action” by providing emergency shelter.
Onondaga County provides clothing and three meals a day every day of the year. Services such as spiritual care, access to mental health professionals, substance abuse programs, and physical health services.

Over the past 19 years, the auction has raised more than $713,000 for nonprofit organizations in central New York. This year’s featured items include Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s autographed playing cards, Sting’s autographed guitar and Carmelo Anthony’s autographed Syracuse University jersey.
