There are about three months until the 2025 NFL Draft. The college football season is officially over and congratulations to the national champion Ohio State Buckeyes. The number of teams eligible to participate in the NFL playoffs has been reduced to four. This means three things:
Now that we have all the recordings of the top contenders’ final seasons, evaluations are becoming clearer.
The draft order for the first 28 picks is set, with the Tennessee Titans sitting in first place.
It’s the perfect time for a mock draft debut for the 2025 class.
This class doesn’t have the abundance of quarterback talent we saw in 2024. But there are still some passers who will go early in Round 1, and there’s plenty of talent at other positions as well. Remember, there’s a lot of time before the draft begins on April 24th, and the board will continue to change depending on pre-draft events. This is just an exercise to show you what I’m thinking three months from now, taking into account the Big Board rankings and what I’ve heard from league executives, scouts and coaches. I’m not thinking about trading at the moment. It is too early to tell which teams will be promoted. We then used ESPN’s Football Power Index to predict the draft order of the final four picks.
Let’s take a look at my early predictions, starting with the Titans. For more on the 32 pick predictions, tune in to the “SportsCenter Special” on Wednesdays at 5pm ET.
