Welcome to this week’s Thanksgiving edition of 13th grade!
Everyone loves Thanksgiving football, and the NFL gave us three games on Thursday. Turkey Day’s game started with a hard-fought game in Detroit, with the Lions coming away with a 23-20 victory over the Chicago Bears. With this win, the Lions snapped a seven-game losing streak on Thanksgiving and improved to 11-1, the best start in franchise history.
In the second game of the day, the Cowboys defeated the Giants 27-20, giving their NFC East rivals a clean sweep of the season, just in time for a Thanksgiving nap.
Thanksgiving night was held in Green Bay, and the Dolphins struggled in the cold, losing 30-17 to the Packers.
With that in mind, let’s take a look at the Lions’ performance on Thanksgiving, starting with their big win.
