Additional tips for how to create meatball subs using 5 ingredients:
Warm the frozen meatballs first! Something of great value can be heated directly in the microwave right away! If you have room, consider melting the proboron layer first before adding meatballs. Pop the rolls in the oven for 5 minutes with proboron slices to begin the fused process. Are you obsessed with rao sauces like me? I was able to eat a spoon spoonful of rao sauce on its own, but the $7 in the jar is a bit expensive. My recipe and Wiz’s companion, Lina, and I agree that the Marinara sauce is a delicious swap. With organic, you can’t beat that price!
I love this simple meatball sub recipe and so do my family!
The biggest part of these meatball submarines is that they are perfect for my 5 family and perfect for my family, as they bake at once! Two casserole dishes are perfect for crowds and parties too. What a great hack!
